A Conversation About Playing Music in Music Class
Samantha and Emily were two friends who attended the same music class. They both loved playing music and were always eager to learn new skills. One day, after their music class, Samantha wanted to talk to Emily about something that had been bothering her. "Can I have a word with you about playing music in class?" Samantha asked. "Well, it’s just that," Emily replied, "I feel like we don't get enough time to practice during class." "What did you have in mind?" Samantha asked. "I thought perhaps we could ask the teacher to give us more time to practice," Emily suggested. "You must feel that," Samantha said, "more practice would help us improve our skills." "I didn’t want to bring it up, but," Emily continued, "I think it would be beneficial for us." "You should have said something earlier," Samantha pointed out. "Could we possibly agree on this?" Emily asked. Samantha and Emily decided to talk to their teacher about their concerns. They explained that they wanted more time to practice during class. The teacher listened to their request and agreed to give them more time to practice. Samantha and Emily were happy with the outcome and grateful for their teacher's understanding. They continued to work hard and improve their skills, knowing that they had the support of their teacher other.
