Why I Choose Japan for the International Summer Exchange Programme
As a student of UMS, I am excited about the opportunity to participate in the international summer exchange programme. Among the three countries available - Japan, Korea, and China - I have chosen Japan for two main reasons. Firstly, Japan is known for its rich cultural heritage and traditions. I have always been fascinated by Japanese art, literature, and history. By choosing Japan, I will have the chance to immerse myself in the unique Japanese culture, visit historical sites such as Kyoto's temples and shrines, and experience traditional tea ceremonies. This cultural exposure will not only broaden my horizons but also deepen my understanding and appreciation for different cultures. Secondly, Japan is renowned for its technological advancements. As a student interested in science and technology, I believe that Japan offers excellent opportunities for me to explore and learn. From robotics to cutting-edge research in various fields, Japan is at the forefront of innovation. By participating in the exchange programme in Japan, I will have the chance to visit research institutions, interact with experts in my field of interest, and gain valuable insights into the latest advancements. In conclusion, I have chosen Japan for the international summer exchange programme because of its rich cultural heritage and its reputation as a technological powerhouse. I am confident that this experience will not only enhance my academic knowledge but also provide me with a unique and unforgettable cultural experience.
