CHAPTER 2: LITERATURE REVIEW 2.1 Theoretical framework The theoretical framework for this study will be based on the Self-Determination Theory, which posits that intrinsic motivation is crucial for long-term engagement and success in learning. This theory will provide a framework for understanding the relationship between teacher feedback and students' motivation to learn English. 2.2 Previous studies The literature review will examine previous studies that have explored the impact of teacher feedback on motivation in language learning.
