A Rainy Weekend

Last weekend, I had planned to celebrate the Mid-Autumn festival with my family and friends. However, our plans were disrupted by the heavy rain that poured down relentlessly. The rain prevented us from setting up the outdoor decorations and lighting the lanterns as we had originally planned. Instead, we had to stay indoors and find alternative ways to enjoy the festival. We gathered around the dining table, lit candles, and shared mooncakes while listening to traditional music. Although the rain dampened our spirits, we made the best of the situation and created a cozy and intimate atmosphere indoors. It was a different kind of celebration, but it brought us closer together as a family. Despite the disappointment of not being able to celebrate outdoors, we realized that the true essence of the festival lies in the company of loved ones and the warmth of togetherness.
