In today's digital age, electronic devices have become an integral part of our lives, including in the realm of education. With the increasing availability and accessibility of technology, it is important to understand how students in our school utilize electronic devices for learning purposes. To gain insights into this matter, our group conducted a survey among 15 students to explore their usage patterns and the impact of electronic devices on their learning experiences. Firstly, we asked the students to provide their names and identify the electronic devices they use for learning. The responses varied, with students mentioning a range of devices such as desktop computers, laptops, tablets, and smartphones. This diversity highlights the prevalence of electronic devices in our school and the different preferences among students. Next, we delved into the frequency of device usage. The survey revealed that the majority of students use electronic devices on a daily basis, while some reported using them multiple times a week. This indicates that electronic devices have become an integral part of their learning routine, suggesting their importance in facilitating educational activities. Furthermore, we inquired about the purposes for which students use electronic devices in their learning. The responses were diverse, with students mentioning various reasons such as reading articles, using educational apps, and taking online courses. This demonstrates the versatility of electronic devices in supporting different aspects of the learning process, from accessing information to engaging in interactive educational activities. Based on the survey findings, it is evident that electronic devices play a significant role in student learning. They provide students with access to a wealth of information and resources, enabling them to explore and expand their knowledge beyond the confines of traditional classroom settings. Moreover, the interactive nature of electronic devices, through educational apps and online courses, fosters active engagement and enhances the learning experience. However, it is important to note that the use of electronic devices for learning should be balanced and purposeful. While they offer numerous benefits, excessive reliance on electronic devices may lead to distractions and hinder effective learning. Therefore, it is crucial for students to develop self-discipline and time management skills to optimize their usage of electronic devices for educational purposes. In conclusion, our survey on the usage of electronic devices for learning among students in our school has shed light on the impact of technology on education. The findings highlight the prevalence and importance of electronic devices in facilitating student learning, while also emphasizing the need for responsible and purposeful usage. As technology continues to evolve, it is essential for educators and students alike to adapt and harness the potential of electronic devices to enhance the learning experience and prepare students for the digital future.
