My Weekend Hobby: Listening to Music
My name is Yên and I am from class 6C at Chau Giang Secondary School. I am eleven years old and I come from a family of five, including my father, mother, sister, brother, and two grandparents. On the weekends, I have a hobby that I really enjoy - listening to music. It is something that brings me joy and helps me relax after a long week of studying. Listening to music has become a part of my daily routine. I have a playlist on my phone that I constantly update with new songs and artists that I discover. I love exploring different genres of music, from pop to rock to classical. Each genre has its own unique sound and style, and I find it fascinating to explore the different emotions and stories that each song tells. Music has a way of connecting with me on a deeper level. It can evoke a wide range of emotions, from happiness to sadness to excitement. Sometimes, when I listen to a song, it feels like the lyrics were written just for me, as if the artist knows exactly what I am going through. It's a comforting feeling to know that I am not alone in my thoughts and feelings. Listening to music also helps me to focus and concentrate. When I am doing my homework or studying for a test, I find that having some background music playing helps me to stay motivated and engaged. It creates a positive and energetic atmosphere that keeps me going. In addition to listening to music, I also enjoy singing along. I may not have the best singing voice, but it doesn't stop me from belting out my favorite songs in the shower or in my room. It's a fun way for me to express myself and let go of any stress or worries. Overall, listening to music is more than just a hobby for me. It is a form of self-expression, a way for me to connect with my emotions, and a source of comfort and relaxation. Whether I am dancing to an upbeat pop song or getting lost in the lyrics of a heartfelt ballad, music has the power to uplift my spirits and make me feel alive. So, if you ever see me with my headphones on, chances are I am lost in my own little world, enjoying the magic of music.
